Duck n Noodle Soup

  • I made this the other day. It was really good!
    I smoked a duck for about 2 hours. Made a base for my broth using a little butter, chopped lemon grass stalk, green onion, ginger, salt n ground peppercorns. I put the mixture with the duck in a slow cooker, with about 2 cups of chicken broth. On high my slow cooker turns into a fast cooker. so after about two hours, I covered it with udon noodles with bean sprouts on top of that. Put the lid back on and let the steam do the rest. When the noodles were nice and ready I stirred them and the sprouts into the mix. Added some fresh cilantro for a lil kick...and n noodoh soop! If you like it hot, add a little siracha hot sauce to the bowl before adding the soup. It mixes very well that way. ...this had been cooking with D@rbY Cr(A)sH!
